Step 1: Navigate to Messenger Chat Home Settings
Navigating to the correct settings app is important here as you’ll find two settings icons on your phone – the settings icon that looks like a grey gear, that’s your system phone’s settings app and while you can uninstall Messenger Chat Home from here, it’s a bit more complicated.

For the steps below, you’ll be using the Messenger Chat Home settings page. For that, find and select the icon that looks like the Messenger Chat Home Icon. Click that icon to navigate to the Messenger Chat Home settings menu, which should look something like this: (Settings Icon)
Step 2: Uninstall Messenger Chat Home
Once you’re in the Messenger Chat Home settings menu, you’ll see an uninstall button at the bottom of your screen:
Step 3: Quick Survey
Click on the “Uninstall” button in the middle of the bottom portion of your screen to uninstall Messenger Chat Home.

Step 4: Select a New Launcher
