The easiest way to change your home screen is by tapping the '“Switch your Launcher” button on the Messenger Chat Home settings app and selecting the home screen of your choice.

If you’d like to manually change your home screen:

1. Navigate to your phone’s settings by going to the system settings
2. Scroll down and select Apps
3. Select Messenger Chat Home
4. Tap 'Home app’ and deselect Messenger Chat Home by choosing any other Home screen option

The easiest way to change your SMS App is by tapping the “Switch your Default SMS App” button on the Messenger Chat Home settings screen and selecting the SMS app of your choice.

If you’d like to manually change your SMS Messaging App:

1. Navigate to your phone’s settings by going to the system settings
2. Scroll down and select Apps
3. Select Messenger Chat Home
4. Tap ‘SMS app' and deselect Messenger Chat Home by choosing any other SMS App option

1. Uninstall via the Messenger Chat Home settings app:
• Navigate to the Messenger Chat Home settings icon in the app drawer
• Tap Uninstall at the bottom of the screen
• After tapping, you will be able to select a new home screen and Messenger Chat Home will be removed from your device

2. Uninstall Manually:
• Navigate to your device settings in the app drawer
• Select 'Apps'
• Select Messenger Chat Home
• Tap Uninstall

3. Uninstall via the Google Play Store:
• Search Messenger Chat Home in the Google Play Store and tap ‘Uninstall’
• Make sure you are logged into Google Play with the account you used when you downloaded the app.

1. Ensure both the app and your device are updated to the latest version
a. Updating the app:
i. Go to the Google Play Store
ii. Tap on “My apps & games”
iii. Update the app if available
b. Updating your device:
i. Go to your device settings
ii. Look for “System” or “About phone”
iii. Tap on ‘System updates’ or ‘Software update’
iv. Follow the prompts to ensure it’s updated
2. Restart your device
a. Press and hold the power button
b. Tap “Restart” when prompted
c. Wait for your phone to turn off and back on
3. Clear your device’s cache
a. Navigate to your device settings in the app drawer
b. Select ‘Apps’
c. Select ‘Messenger Chat Home’
d. Tap ‘Storage & cache’
e. Tap ‘Clear cache’
